An effective gatekeeper is spiritually armed.

Be armed with spiritual discipline; Fasting is a spiritual discipline. When you’re armed, you cannot be dared easily, you cannot be accessed easily. The devil cannot try you anyhow, because he knows that you know the Word.

A gatekeeper is sensitive, vigilant, receptive to God, does not take things for granted, she’s aware of what’s happening around her. She’s not overly busy, her mind is open to God and her environment and she can sense the activity of the devil around.

Be fully armoured.
